A bit of background...
Hi, I’m Lucy.
I’m a London-based freelance journalist and copywriter with a primary focus on health, fitness and wellbeing.
I have a mild obsession with writing, but when I’m not typing words onto a Google doc, I’m either training for some form of brutal fitness competition, teaching strength-based classes at London studios or watching The Office.

Where it all began...
I’ve worked in publishing and media for more than 10 years now, having originally built a career in women’s magazines.
I’ve worked at a number of national titles including Now, Look, Cosmopolitan UK, Cosmopolitan Australia, Woman, Woman & Home and Woman’s Weekly. I held the Health Editor role across a number of these for several years, as well as the Editor role at Woman & Home’s lifestyle spin-off title, Feel Good You.

I write for multiple publications on every health and wellness topic under the sun...from sleep, skincare and psoriasis to gym routines, gynaecological health and glucose monitors.
I also copywrite for a variety of different brands (see below).

Copywriting
From global confectionery and food brands, to international gym brands and sportswear companies as well as smaller start-ups, I’ve created content for a myriad of different companies. From developing content strategies, to writing blogs, campaign taglines, product copy, websites, press releases and even marketing materials...if there’s words involved, then I love writing them.
